५२ नागरिक ठार ; इसीसने घेतली हल्ल्याची जबाबदारी

काबुल : अफगाणिस्तानची राजधानी काबुल येथे पुन्हा एकदा आत्मघातकी हल्ला झाला असून एकूण ५२ नागरिकांचा या हल्ल्यामध्ये मृत्यू झाला आहे. तसेच ५० हून अधिक नागरिक या हल्ल्यात जखमी झाले असून मृतांचा आकडा वाढण्याची भीती पोलिसांकडून व्यक्त करण्यात येत आहे.

दक्षिण काबुलमध्ये असलेल्या दश्त-ए-बरची याठिकाणी हा आत्मघातकी हल्ला करण्यात आला आहे. अफगाणिस्तानमध्ये होणाऱ्या आगामी निवडणुकांच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर याठिकाणी नव्या मतदारांची नोंदणी करण्यात येत होती. यावेळी एक अज्ञात व्यक्ती याठिकाणी आल्याची माहिती काही प्रत्यक्षदर्शींनी दिली आहे. या व्यक्तींनी आपल्या तोंडावर कापड बांधले होते. ही व्यक्ती सर्व नोंदणीस्थळी येऊन त्यांनी स्वतःचा स्फोट घडवून आणला. या स्फोटाच्या भीषण तीव्रतेमुळे ५२ नागरिकांचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला तर ५० हून अधिक नागरिक गंभीररीत्या जखमी झाले. यानंतर आत्पकालीन व्यवस्थेने तातडीने घटनास्थळी धाव घेत जखमी नागरिकांना उपचारासाठी रुग्णालयात हलवले.

दरम्यान थोड्याच वेळानंतर इस्लामिक स्टेट या दहशतवादी संघटनेनी या हल्ल्याची जबाबदारी स्वीकारत मतदार नोंदणीच्या या कार्यावर आपला आक्षेप नोंदवला आहे. या हल्ल्यानंतर अमेरिकेने देखील या घटनेवर तीव्र नाराजी व्यक्त केली आहे. भारताने देखील याला भ्याड हल्ला घोषित करत, याचा तीव्र शब्दात निषेध नोंदवला आहे.
