झारखंड आंदोलनाला हिंसक वळण; विद्यार्थ्यांवर पोलिसांचा लाठीचार्ज, वॉटर कॅननचा मारा!

रांची (Jharkhand Student Protest) : झारखंडमध्ये JPSC आणि JSSC परीक्षांमधील कथित भरती प्रक्रियेतील अनियमितता, पेपर फुटी आणि परीक्षा प्रक्रियेतील पारदर्शकतेच्या मागणीवरून सुरू असलेल्या विद्यार्थी आंदोलनाला सोमवारी दि. १० ऑगस्ट रोजी आक्रमक वळण प्राप्त झाले. विधानसभा घेराव घालणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी पोलिसांद्वारे लावण्यात आलेले बॅरिकेड्स तोडून पुढे जाण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. परिस्थिती नियंत्रणात आणण्यासाठी पोलिसांनी विद्यार्थ्यांवर लाठीचार्ज केला, तसेच विद्यार्थ्यांवर वॉटर कॅननचाही वापर करण्यात आला. विद्यार्थ्यांचा मोर्चा झारखंड विधानसभेच्या दिशेने पुढे जात असताना पोलिसांनी आंदोलनकर्त्यांना रोखण्यासाठी विविध ठिकाणी बॅरिकेड्स उभारले होते. मात्र, आंदोलकांनी बॅरिकेड्स पार करत पुढे जाण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. त्यानंतर पोलिसांनी जमावाला थांबवण्यासाठी लाठीचार्ज आणि वॉटर कॅननचा वापर केला. त्यामुळे आंदोलनस्थळी काही काळ तणावाचे वातावरण निर्माण झाले. या आंदोलनात विद्यार्थी नेते आणि सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते देवेंद्रनाथ महतो यांनीही सहभाग घेतला. JPSC आणि JSSC भरती परीक्षांमधील कथित गैरप्रकारांविरोधात ते आंदोलन करत असून, विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मागण्यांसाठी त्यांनी उपोषण सुरू केले आहे. परीक्षांमध्ये पारदर्शकता आणावी, कथित अनियमिततेची चौकशी करावी आणि विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मागण्यांवर सरकारने तातडीने निर्णय घ्यावा, अशी आंदोलकांची प्रमुख मागणी आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांच्या आंदोलनामुळे झारखंड सरकारवर दबाव वाढला आहे. विधानसभा घेरावाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर पोलिसांनी परिसरात सुरक्षा व्यवस्था वाढवली असून, आंदोलनकर्त्यांना विधानसभेच्या दिशेने जाण्यापासून रोखण्यासाठी अतिरिक्त बंदोबस्त तैनात करण्यात आला आहे. (Jharkhand Student Protest)

दरम्यान, पोलिसांच्या कारवाईनंतरही विद्यार्थी आपल्या मागण्यांवर ठाम असल्याचे दिसून येत आहे. JPSC-JSSC परीक्षांशी संबंधित प्रश्नांवर सरकारने ठोस भूमिका जाहीर करावी आणि विद्यार्थ्यांशी चर्चा करावी, अशी मागणी आंदोलकांकडून केली जात आहे. या आंदोलनामुळे झारखंडमधील विद्यार्थी आणि सरकार यांच्यातील संघर्ष आणखी तीव्र होण्याची शक्यता आहे.
