मुंबई : (Mayor Reservation LIVE Update) राज्यातील विविध महानगरपालिकांच्या महापौरपदासाठी आज आरक्षण सोडत जाहीर करण्यात आली असून, या सोडतीमुळे राजकीय वर्तुळात मोठी हालचाल सुरू झाली आहे. अनुसूचित जमाती, अनुसूचित जाती, इतर मागास प्रवर्ग (ओबीसी) आणि सर्वसाधारण खुला प्रवर्ग अशा चार प्रमुख गटांमध्ये महापौरपदे आरक्षित करण्यात आली आहेत. यामध्ये ५० टक्के महिला आरक्षणाचा नियम लागू करण्यात आल्याने अनेक शहरांना महिला महापौर मिळणार आहेत.
