मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, इस्रायल-इराण संघर्षाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर फेब्रुवारीच्या अखेरीस अरामकोच्या ‘जु'आयमाह’ या प्रमुख निर्यात केंद्राचे मोठ्या प्रमाणावर नुकसान झाले. या नुकसानीमुळे कंपनीला गॅस निर्यात थांबवण्यास भाग पडले आहे. अरामकोने आपल्या काही ग्राहकांना याबाबत आधीच सूचित केले असून, दुरुस्तीचे काम अद्याप पूर्ण झालेले नसल्याचे सांगितले आहे.(LPG Crisis India)
 
विशेष म्हणजे, जरी ‘हॉर्मुझची सामुद्रधुनी’ पुन्हा वाहतुकीसाठी खुली झाली, तरीही पुढील महिन्यात गॅस पुरवठा सुरू होण्याची शक्यता कमी असल्याचे संकेत आहेत. यापूर्वी २६ फेब्रुवारी रोजी कंपनीने कोणतेही सविस्तर कारण न देता काही आठवड्यांसाठी गॅस पुरवठा रद्द करण्याची घोषणा केली होती.(LPG Crisis India)
