मुंबई : (Kerala youngest organ donor) केरळमधील मल्लापल्ली येथील अलिन शेरीन अब्राहम ही केरळमधील सर्वात तरुण अवयवदाता ठरली असून तिच्या अवयवांमुळे एका बालकासह पाच जणांना नवजीवन मिळणार आहे. ५ फेब्रुवारी रोजी दुपारी सुमारे २.३० वाजता कोट्टायमहून तिरुवल्लाकडे एमसी रोडने जात असताना अलिन प्रवास करत असलेल्या वाहनाला विरुद्ध दिशेने येणाऱ्या कारने धडक दिली. या भीषण अपघातात अलिन गंभीर जखमी झाली. प्राथमिक उपचारांनंतर तिला पुढील उपचारासाठी केरळमधील अमृता रुग्णालय येथे हलवण्यात आले. मात्र १३ फेब्रुवारी रोजी डॉक्टरांनी तिला ब्रेनडेड घोषित केले. या अत्यंत कठीण क्षणी तिचे वडील अरुण अब्राहम आणि आई शेरीन यांनी मोठा निर्णय घेत तिचे अवयव दान करण्यास संमती दिली. केरळमधील सर्वात तरुण अवयवदाता असलेल्या दहा महिन्यांच्या अलिन शेरीन अब्राहमचा पथनमथिट्टा येथे राज्यस्तरीय निरोप समारंभ पार पडला. अलिनचे यकृत किम्स रुग्णालय येथे उपचार घेत असलेल्या अवघ्या सहा महिन्यांच्या बाळाला दिले जाणार आहे. मरणोत्तर अवयवदानातून यकृत मिळणारा तो राज्यातील सर्वात लहान रुग्ण ठरणार आहे. दोन्ही मूत्रपिंडे एसएटी हॉस्पिटलमधील बालरुग्णाला दिली जाणार आहेत. हृदय श्री चित्रा तिरुनाल इन्स्टिट्यूट येथे दिली जाणार आहे, तर डोळे अमृता रुग्णालयातच एखाद्या रुग्णावर वापरण्यात येतील. कोचीहून तिरुवनंतपुरमपर्यंतचा प्रवास रुग्णवाहिकेने अवघ्या ३ तास १५ मिनिटांत पूर्ण केला. पोलिस आणि नागरिकांनी ग्रीन कॉरिडॉर तयार करून मार्ग मोकळा केला. या संपूर्ण प्रक्रियेचे समन्वयन के-सोट्टोने गृह विभागाच्या मदतीने केले. (Kerala youngest organ donor)
