अहमदाबाद: (Operation Delta Hunt) गुजरात पोलिसांच्या 'ऑपरेशन डेल्टा हंट' मोहिमेत एका दिवसात राज्यभरातून तब्बल ५०१ बेकायदेशीर बांगलादेशी नागरिकांना ताब्यात घेत मोठी कारवाई बुधवारी ३ जून रोजी करण्यात आली. दरम्यान, राज्याचे गृहमंत्री हर्ष संघवी यांनी सांगितले की, प्रत्येक घुसखोराला ओळखून त्वरित बांगलादेशला परत पाठवण्यात येईल. पोलिसांनी या कारवाईसाठी तयार केलेल्या डेटाबेसमध्ये आतापर्यंत ६,२०० हून अधिक संशयित व्यक्तींची नावे आणि माहिती नोंदवली आहे. या डेटाच्या आधारे राज्यव्यापी सखोल मोहिम राबवली गेली. अहमदाबाद गुन्हे शाखा आणि सुमारे ३० पोलीस पथके या प्रकरणी सखोल चौकशी आणि जप्तीच्या कारवाया करत आहेत. बनावट कागदपत्रे व आर्थिक व्यवहार...
 
प्राथमिक तपासात समोर आले आहे की अनेक पकडलेल्या व्यक्तींनी बनावट भारतीय ओळखपत्रे मिळवून घेतले होती. तसेच काही तक्रारींनुसार हे लोक कोलकाता आधारित मध्यस्थांच्या माध्यमातून आणि काही मोबाईल अॅप्सद्वारे बांगलादेशला पैसे पाठवत होते. (Operation Delta Hunt)
 
स्थानिक अधिकाऱ्यांनी सांगितले की हे नेटवर्क संस्थात्मक स्वरूपाचे असून त्यात कागदपत्रे बनवणे, संपर्क मिळवणे आणि परकीय व्यवहार यांचा समावेश दिसून येतो. (Operation Delta Hunt)
 
दरम्यान, गृहमंत्री हर्ष संघवी यांनी स्पष्ट केले की, राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षेबाबत कोणतीही तडजोड होणार नाही. घुसखोरांवर कठोर कारवाई करण्यासोबतच ज्यांनी त्यांना आश्रय आणि रोजगार पुरवले किंवा त्यांना सहाय्य केले, अशा व्यक्तींवरही कठोर कायदेशीर कारवाई केली जाईल. (Operation Delta Hunt)
 
पोलिस सांगितले की, पुढील टप्प्यात हे नेटवर्क ओढखाण करून त्याच्या पाठीमागील मध्यस्थ आणि स्थानिक सहयोगींविरुद्ध आवश्यक गुन्हे नोंदवले जातील. (Operation Delta Hunt)
 

सध्या पकडलेल्या व्यक्तींना त्वरित ताब्यात घेऊन चौकशी सुरू केली गेली असून त्यांच्या कागदपत्रांची पडताळणी आणि ओळख पडताळण्याचे काम सुरू आहे. ओळख सुनिश्चित झाल्यानंतर, परदेशी कायद्यानुसार त्यांना निष्कर्ष काढून परदेशात परत पाठवण्याची प्रक्रिया लागू केली जाईल. (Operation Delta Hunt)
