मुंबई: (IAF AN-32 Crash) भारतीय हवाई दलाचे एएन-32 मालवाहू विमान शनिवारी १३ जून रोजी आसाममधील जोरहाट एअर फोर्स स्टेशनवर अपघातग्रस्त झाले. या भीषण दुर्घटनेत हवाई दलाच्या पाच जवानांना वीरमरण आले असून संपूर्ण देशात हळहळ व्यक्त केली जात आहे. (IAF AN-32 Crash)

हवाई दलाचे प्रवक्ते विंग कमांडर जयदीप यांनी जोरहाट एअर फोर्स स्टेशनवर एएन-32 विमान अपघातग्रस्त झाल्याच्या वृत्ताला दुजोरा दिला आहे. प्राथमिक माहितीनुसार, विमान हवाई तळावर उतरत असताना नियंत्रण सुटून कोसळले आणि त्यानंतर त्याला आग लागली. (IAF AN-32 Crash)
 
भारतीय हवाई दलाने एक्सवरील पोस्टमध्ये म्हटले आहे की, "आसाममधील जोरहाट येथे एएन-32 विमानाला झालेल्या अपघातात पाच जवानांचा मृत्यू झाल्याबद्दल आम्ही तीव्र शोक व्यक्त करतो. त्यांनी कर्तव्य बजावताना सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिले आहे." अपघाताचे नेमके कारण अद्याप स्पष्ट झालेले नसून, त्यासाठी कोर्ट ऑफ इन्क्वायरी अर्थात चौकशी समिती स्थापन करण्यात येणार आहे. अपघातस्थळी मदतकार्य आणि प्राथमिक तपास सुरू असल्याचे हवाई दलाने सांगितले आहे.
