(Pakistan suicide bombing) पाकिस्तानातील बलुचिस्तान प्रांतात रविवारी २४ मे २०२६ रोजी सकाळी एक भीषण बॉम्बस्फोट झाला. लष्करी जवानांना घरी पाठवणाऱ्या एका शटल ट्रेनला लक्ष्य करून करण्यात आलेल्या या स्फोटात किमान २० जणांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे, तर ७० जण जखमी झाले आहेत. (Pakistan suicide bombing)
 
ही ट्रेन क्वेटा येथील चमन फाटक रेल्वे स्टेशनजवळून जात असताना स्फोट झाला. क्वेटा ही बलुचिस्तानची राजधानी आहे आणि ही ट्रेन शटल सेवेद्वारा ईदच्या सुट्टीसाठी घरी परतणाऱ्या लष्करी जवानांसह, त्यांच्या कुटुंबीयांना घेऊन जात होती. आतापर्यंत माध्यमांवरून मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, स्फोटामुळे इंजिन आणि तीन डबे रुळावरून घसरले, तर दोन डबे उलटले. घटनास्थळावरील दृश्यांत उलटलेले डबे, लागलेल्या आगीचे काळे धुरे आणि बाजूने रस्त्यावरील कारचे उध्वस्त अवशेष दिसत आहेत. बलुचिस्तान लिबरेशन आर्मी (BLA) या फुटीरतावादी गटाने या हल्ल्याची जबाबदारी स्वीकारत म्हटले आहे की, हा आत्मघातकी बॉम्बस्फोट होता, ज्यामध्ये भरलेले वाहन ट्रेनवर आदळले आणि मोठ्या प्रमाणात स्फोट केला गेला. पाकिस्तानी अधिकाऱ्यांनी अद्याप BLA च्या या दाव्याला अधिकृतपणे दुजोरा दिलेला नाही, पण चौकशी केंद्रित केली जात आहे.
