मुंबई: (Ashok Kharat case) महिलांच्या लैंगिक शोषण आणि अत्याचाराच्या गंभीर आरोपांमुळे चर्चेत आलेल्या भोंदूबाबा अशोक खरात प्रकरणाची व्याप्ती दिवसेंदिवस वाढत आहे. या प्रकरणामुळे राज्यभर संतापाची लाट उसळली असून अनेक राजकीय आणि सामाजिक व्यक्तींची नावे समोर येत आहेत. याआधी रुपाली चाकणकर आणि दीपक केसरकर यांची नावे समोर आली होती. या वादाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर चाकणकर यांनी राज्य महिला आयोगाच्या अध्यक्षपदाचा आणि राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसच्या महिला प्रदेशाध्यक्षपदाचा राजीनामा दिला. देसाई यांच्या म्हणण्यानुसार, नीलम गोऱ्हे या अशोक खरात यांना अनेक वर्षांपासून ओळखतात. कोरोनापूर्वी त्यांनी खरातची भेट घेतली होती आणि आमदारकीसाठी भविष्य जाणून घेण्यासाठी त्या त्याच्या संपर्कात होत्या, असा दावा त्यांनी केला आहे. तसेच नाशिकमधील एका हॉटेलमध्येही खरातने गोऱ्हेंना भेटून भविष्य सांगितल्याचा आरोप देसाईंनी केला. या प्रकरणात अनेक महिलांनी पुढे येऊन तक्रारी केल्यानंतरही नीलम गोऱ्हे यांनी सार्वजनिक भूमिका का घेतली नाही, असा सवाल तृप्ती देसाई यांनी उपस्थित केला आहे. “महिलांच्या प्रश्नांवर नेहमी आक्रमकपणे बोलणाऱ्या गोऱ्हे या प्रकरणात शांत का आहेत?” असा थेट प्रश्नही त्यांनी विचारला. (Ashok Kharat case)
 
तसेच, या भेटींची माहिती त्यांनी स्वतःहून का दिली नाही, आणि इतक्या गंभीर प्रकरणात त्यांनी आवाज का उठवला नाही, याबाबतही देसाईंनी शंका व्यक्त केली आहे. या आरोपांमुळे प्रकरणाला नवे वळण मिळण्याची शक्यता आहे. दरम्यान, या प्रकरणाचा तपास सुरू असून महिला अधिकारी तेजस्वी सातपुते यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली चौकशी सुरू आहे. पोलिसांकडे अनेक व्हिडिओ आणि पुरावे जमा झाल्याची माहिती समोर येत आहे.
