मुंबई : (BMC Election 2026 Survey) देशाचे लक्ष लागून राहिलेल्या मुंबई महानगरपालिका निवडणुकीच्या प्रचाराला आता चांगलीच धार आली आहे. सोमवारपासून मुंबईत ठाकरे बंधू तसेच महायुतीच्या नेत्यांच्या प्रचारसभा सुरू होत असून, यंदाची निवडणूक राजकीयदृष्ट्या अत्यंत निर्णायक मानली जात आहे. एकीकडे ठाकरे बंधूंसाठी ही अस्तित्वाची लढाई ठरली आहे, तर दुसरीकडे भाजपने कोणत्याही परिस्थितीत मुंबईत आपलाच महापौर बसवण्याचा निर्धार केला आहे. या पार्श्वभूमीवर AsceIndia या संस्थेने मुंबई महानगरपालिका निवडणूक २०२६ संदर्भातील सर्व्हे जाहीर केला आहे. या सर्व्हेनुसार, मुंबईतील जवळपास निम्मे मराठी मतदार ठाकरे गट–मनसे युतीच्या पाठीशी उभे राहण्याची शक्यता असली, तरी एकूण चित्र पाहता भाजप–शिवसेना (शिंदे गट) सत्तेत येण्याचा अंदाज वर्तवण्यात आला आहे. मराठी मतदार
भाजप–शिवसेना : ४२%
ठाकरे गट–मनसे : ४४%

AsceIndia चे संस्थापक अमिताभ तिवारी यांच्या मते, २०१७ मध्ये मुंबईत ५५ टक्के मतदान झाले होते आणि यंदाही साधारण तितकेच मतदान होण्याची शक्यता आहे. अमराठी मतदारांचा मोठा कल भाजप आणि शिंदे गटाकडे असल्यामुळे, एकूण निकालात महायुतीला फायदा होऊ शकतो, असा अंदाज त्यांनी व्यक्त केला.

मराठी मतदारांमध्ये ठाकरे बंधूंना चांगला पाठिंबा मिळण्याची चिन्हे असली, तरी एकूण समीकरण पाहता भाजप–शिवसेनेचा महापौर बसण्याची शक्यता अधिक असल्याचे या सर्व्हेतून स्पष्ट होते. मात्र, ठाकरे गट–मनसे युतीला नेमक्या किती जागा मिळतात आणि मुंबईत ते आपले राजकीय अस्तित्व कितपत टिकवतात, हे निकालानंतरच स्पष्ट होणार आहे.
